All in a day’s work…

We had a busy weekend. Suzie and I had a rummage and actually had a good turnout. We made fun of mom’s “ugly table” but sure enough it was the hit of the rummage! We also celebrated Joan A Stinkypunk’s birthday since she will be leaving with Maria for their big trip to El Salvador.

Dani had her pulmonologist and neurologist appointment today. Both went well. I have to give the neurologist credit for giving us the “add another seizure medication” speech again. I wonder if our eyes glaze over like Kaylee does to us all the time! I think he finally realizes it will be a hard sell to get us add more seizure medication.

When we were at Dani’s appointments, we get a phone call. It was the flooring people wondering why we weren’t home to let them in. Hmmm, we were told they were going to start putting in the hardwood floor on Tuesday. And to top it off we weren’t done taking out all the furniture. So, after Dani’s appointment we had to get Dani’s medical supplies then race home. Basically, Dan and I got a day’s worth of moving furniture done in 3 hours. We set up all of Dani’s room downstairs as well as ours, so it will be one long sleepless week sleeping in the same room as the mega brat.

Good Intentions

On Sunday, we had on our agenda to attend a baby shower for Amanda and Brian’s little one in Brookings. Dani let us get to Brookings. She actually traveled quite well up to Brookings. But she wasn’t acting quite right so that is as far we got to the baby shower. I waited until her feeding was settled before we headed back to Tea. However, I already pushed her limit and let’s just say it was a long trip home.

We are working on packing on the pounds for Dani. She gets ½ tsp of Canola Oil twice a day. I know, it sounds delicious!

Dani has a busy May planned. She has a neurologist, pulmonologist appointment, as well as her weekly chiropractor appointments. She made it thru April with only a bout of pink eye, hopefully her May can be just as uneventful!
